This week it has been announced that two more players will leave Fujieda MYFC. Midfielders Toshiya Ishii and Hiroyuki Ishida will both leave the club with the latter of the two retiring from football at the age of 34.
After four years at the club, Toshiya Ishii has decided to leave Fujieda. The 35 year old played his first season for MYFC in 2010 in the Tokai First Division, playing fifteen matches and scoring one goal. This year he has been a mainstay of the team in midfield, playing 29 matches.
I have decided to resign from Fujieda MYFC who enrolled me four years ago.
Sponsors, supporters of everyone and fans, I would like to thank everyone that was involved in MYFC.
It becomes the new Fujieda MYFC from next year. Thank you for your support and encouragement.
After a career which has spanned five different countries, 35 year old Hiroyuki Ishida has decided to hang up his boots for good.
The midfielder joined the club in 2009 when the club played in the Shizuoka First Division. In his first season, he helped the side win promotion to the regional leagues with seven goals in nine games.
He has played in every season since but injuries restricted him to just 14 appearances this season – but he did manage to score two goals.
I have decided to finish an athletic career of 15 years that I have been allowed to play as a football player .
I would like to thank everyone from the bottom of my heart to all who have supported until now.
