On Sunday 28th September, Fujieda MYFC used their free weekend to play a practice match against J1 side Nagoya Grampus.
The game was played at the Toyota Sports Center in Hamamatsu, Shizuoka.
As it was a practice match, the game was split into three thirty minute periods, in order to ensure players were not stretching their physical limits too much.
The game ended in a 1-1 scoreline, with Fujieda’s goal coming in the first third and Nagoya’s coming in the second third. Tsugutoshi Oishi scored the goal for MYFC, with Brazilian forward Gustavo scoring the opposition’s.
Although only a practice match, it is still a good result for Fujieda to get a draw against a J1 side and will surely be a confidence booster for this Sunday’s game away to Grulla Morioka.
