Fujieda MYFC team news
After last week’s impressive 2-0 away win over Grulla Morioka, it is unlikely that manager Musashi Mizushima will want to move make many changes to his starting team. This means that he could well opt to keep the attacking 4-3-3 system he lined up with last weekend, after the formation seemed solid at the back, as well as going forward.

Former Japanese international defender Daisuke Ichikawa missed the victory last Sunday, despite starting the previous three matches so could be in-line for a return this week.

Centre back Kazushi Uchida will also be pushing for a place in the starting eleven. He failed to start a for the first time since April last Sunday.

Fukushima United secured their first win in 12 matches after defeating Blaublitz Akita 2-0 last week. The horrendous run of form including six draws and six defeats, seeing United move swiftly down the table. A loss this Sunday could see them slip as low as 10th in the table.

The main problem for Fukushima this season has been scoring goals – they have scored just 24 goals in 26 games, only bottom-club YSCC have scored less than that.

Fortunately for a side lacking goals, their defence has been reasonably solid. The 30 goals they have conceded so far is the lowest out of the bottom seven clubs.

The goals have been well spread out between the players but their top scorer is South Korean striker Hong-Yeon Kim. The centre forward has managed five goals so far, equalling his tally from last season already. He also scored in last week’s victory over Blaublitz.

The side’s top assister is former FC Gifu right back Akhiro Noda. The 26-year-old has contributed five assists from full back so far this season, including one last week. Noda is one of United’s key players and has over 60 J2 games to his name, having played for Gifu in 2010 and 2011.
