Musashi Mizushima appointed as new manager!

Yesterday, Jun Koyama, chairman of Fujieda MYFC, announced the new staff list for the 2014. He revealed the who would be replacing Toshihide Saito as manager of the club, after the former Japanese international left at the end of the 2013 season.

Mizushima

Musashi Mizushima will takeover from Saito as the club’s manager. A former player, Mizushima played professionally for some of the biggest club sides in Brazil, including Sao Paulo and Santos. In 1989, he returned to Japan, playing three seasons in the old Japan Soccer League, before a final season in the inaugural year of the J. League for Yokohama Flugels. Fujieda will be the 49 year old’s first professional management job.
